｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ (Graphic Design Portfolio) Anna Bierler is an independent graphic designer based in Rotterdam. Her design practice focuses on book making, process-based and performative publishing and language as a material.
Anna has taught at Gerrit Rietveld Academy (NL), ArtEZ (NL), the University of Antwerp (BE), Weißensee Academy of Arts (DE) and is a regular guest tutor at Willem de Kooning Academy (NL).
Anna co-organizes the poetry collective OOOReading Club since 2022, a community platform for writers and readers to experiment with language as a material – and co-runs the publishing platform afloat that explores the boundaries of climate catastrophe, storytelling, survivalism and worldmaking.
Anna graduated in Comparative Literature from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich) in 2014 and in Visual Communication from Weißensee Academy of Arts (Berlin) in 2019. In 2021 Anna received an MFA in Design from the Sandberg Institute (Amsterdam).
